Noosa Strade Bianche Postponed to August 2021
The 2020 Noosa Strade Bianche has regrettably been Postponed to August 2021 in response to Covid-19 concerns
Based on current guidelines (national, state, and regional), and after discussions with local authorities, our event committee determined the safest scenario for the community will be to cancel the event this year.
We have been following the pandemic news on a daily basis and had been suitably encouraged to delay postponement for as long as possible, however with August rapidly approaching, we do not feel there is sufficient information to suggest that we will be free to celebrate our 10th anniversary with the party atmosphere it truly deserves.
In what has been a continually evolving and challenging time, we recognise that a cancellation or postponement is disappointing, but we look forward to providing you with an exceptional event experience in the future.
The Noosa Strade Bianche experience remains rooted in our core values including safety, fun, and credibility. Taking these values into account, it became clear to us that the required changes needed to keep every rider, spectator, volunteer, sponsor, vendor and members of our local community safe would result in a significantly compromised version of the Noosa Strade Bianche.
We live for these events and the opportunity to support our cyclists as they challenge themselves on the beautiful gravel roads around the Noosa Hinterland.
The 2021 Noosa Strade Bianche will be held on Saturday 7th / Sunday 8th August. Participants who have entered one of the 2020 events have the option to defer to 2021 or receive a refund.
Participants wishing to defer to 2021 will not need to do anything at this time. Participants wishing for a refund will need to reach out via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and request a refund.
The Noosa Strade Bianche team will post relevant updates on our website and via social media.
We thank riders, supporters and stakeholders for their ongoing support.
