Not the ‘Noosa Strade Bianche’ 2020 ride

With the 2020 Noosa Strade Bianche cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns, a group ride over the Medio Fondo course was completed in honour of the event.

With a stunning blue sky – winters day to set the scene, the ‘not the Noosa Strade Bianche’ 2020 ride, ensured that the sound of gravel under bicycle tyre would echo through the Noosa Hinterland once again!

A free invitation to join up and ride the Medio Fondo course on the 9th of August was offered via our facebook page. A good turn-out of riders on a variety of bicycles, kept the spirit of the Noosa Strade Bianche alive for 2020, as we wait for 2021 and hopefully a return to normality post-Covid.

A series of photographs from the ride was captured by the sunshine coast’s leading freelance photographer, ‘Surfshots Photography. We have included a brief selection below, if you wish to view all the images captured from the day click on the link below. If you were lucky enough to appear in one of the photographs, they are available for purchase (follow the steps on the surfshots website to purchase).

The Noosa Strade Bianche team will post relevant updates on our website and via social media.
